Why local presence matters
Immigration is decided locally. So that is where we work.
A visa is approved by a person in a building: an AIMA officer in Lisbon, an Extranjería clerk in Barcelona, a caseworker at the Ministry of Migration in Athens, a GDRFA official in Dubai. Our lawyers work in the same cities. They know how each authority reads a file, which appointment slots actually exist, and what changed last month. That knowledge does not travel by e-mail.
Local also means present. When your residency appointment comes up, a member of our team walks in with you and sits through it. Certified translations, apostilles, tax numbers and bank accounts are handled by people who can go to the counter themselves. And because our offices span four time zones, a client in California can speak to a Lisbon lawyer at 9:00 in the morning, Pacific time, and have an answer from London before lunch.

What each office does best.

Lisbon, headquarters
Our first and largest office, on the Lisbon riverfront. The Portugal team handles the D7 and D8 visas, the Portugal Golden Visa, tax residency planning, NIF and bank account setup, and every AIMA appointment in person. It is also where our founders' own move ended, ten years ago.

Barcelona
Spain's digital nomad visa and non-lucrative visa, plus the Beckham tax regime for those who qualify. Our Spanish lawyers file directly with the Unidad de Grandes Empresas in Madrid and accompany clients to the Extranjería and police appointments in Barcelona.

London
Our office for clients based in the United Kingdom and for moves between the UK and the EU. From here we advise British and US citizens living in the UK on Portuguese, Spanish and Greek residency, and on the practical side of leaving the UK.

Athens
The Greece Golden Visa, from property search and legal due diligence to the biometrics appointment. Our Athens lawyers verify title deeds, obtain the Greek tax number and bank account, and file with the Ministry of Migration and Asylum.

Dubai
UAE residency, the UAE Golden Visa and company formation in the free zones. The Dubai office is also the meeting point for clients based in the Gulf and Asia who are planning a European residency.
