Select one of Portugal’s approved investment options—such as a €500,000 fund investment, €500,000 in research activities, €250,000 in cultural heritage projects, or other qualifying pathways.
Provide documentation showing the legal origin of your investment capital, such as bank statements, tax returns, or sale agreements, meeting Portugal’s anti–money laundering requirements.
Obtain private health insurance covering all medical expenses in Portugal until you are registered with the national healthcare system.
Submit a police clearance certificate from your country of residence (and any country lived in during the last 5 years), issued within the last 90 days, apostilled or legalised, and translated into Portuguese.
