Show a valid job offer in Spain with a gross annual salary of at least 1.5× the national average (about €38,844/year) or 1.2× for shortage occupations. The contract must be for at least one year.
Provide a recognised higher education qualification (minimum three years of study) or at least five years of professional experience at a comparable level in your field.
Secure full-coverage health insurance for yourself and any dependents, provided by a Spanish-authorised insurer or through your employer.
Submit a police clearance certificate from your country of residence (and any country lived in over the last 5 years), issued within the last 90 days, apostilled or legalised, and translated into Spanish.
Include a rental contract, property deed, or host declaration confirming where you will live in Spain.
Gather your completed application form, valid passport, passport photos, signed employment contract, proof of qualifications, payment of the visa fee, and any additional employer documentation confirming eligibility for the Blue Card scheme.
