Required to verify your identity for the bank.
Most Spanish banks require a Foreign Identification Number (NIE); some allow non-resident setups without it.
A utility bill, rental agreement, or empadronamiento (residency certificate) is usually needed.
Some banks request pay slips, employment contracts, or a justification for opening the account (e.g., property purchase, remote work).
For non-residents without a NIE, banks may request this document.
We can arrange either a completely online setup or accompany you at a local branch if you're already in Spain. Our remote process typically takes 3–4 weeks.
We take care of the full bank account opening process for you. Everything is managed remotely, so you don’t need to travel or be physically present in Spain.
