Spize TV brings "Roots Global" its pan-European DTH platform to European viewers – to take them on a trip back to their roots. Spize TV of Singapore is majority owned by Pyramid Saimira (listed on Indian stock exchange: PSTL) of Chennai, India.

Roots Global is a pan-European DTH platform for the South Asian and Ethnic/Expat communities in Europe, Middle East and North Africa.

Roots Global platform already has bouquets for the Northern countries of the Indian subcontinent (called our "North" bouquets), bouquets for the Southern countries (i.e. India and Sri Lanka, called our "South" bouquets), and a Nepali bouquet. Further bouquets are being developed for the Far Eastern countries.

There will also be free-to-air and "a la carte" channels on the platform. "Roots Global" will install a dual-LNB on subscribers’ satellite dishes to enable reception from EB-9 and also the popular HotBird satellites of Europe (to give viewers’ access to HotBird’s huge array of free-to-air channels). The HotBird satellite system has a viewership of over 110 million home and is carrying 500+ free-to-air channels – and this is the neighborhood that "Spize TV" synergizes with.

Roots Global - DTH Platform Details

• "Roots Global" DTH has launched on the Eutelsat EuroBird-9 satellite @ 9° East.
• Subscribe to our PAY-TV bouquets and get a FREE dual-LNB installed & watch all the (500+) free-to-air channels on the Hot Bird satellites.
• "Roots Global" DTH has BOTH Viaccess and Irdeto encryption systems on the platform.
• Channels for uplinking onto the platform can be "collected" from existing Asian or European satellites and fibered to our Teleport network.
• The North and South bouquets will have a mix of general entertainment channels in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, etc.
• "Roots Global" will put in place a European-wide marketing, distribution & sales network to promote and market the channels, complemented by a call centre and subscriber management system.
